The Summer Labyrinth Walk
June 18 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The world is starting to return to normal – and yet some stress and strain remains. What can we do to remove the remaining anxieties that keep us from our former happy lives? Are you ready to enter into your own state of meditation? To find doorways into the secrets of self?
The Labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It is not a maze…it is a meander. There are no tricks to it and no dead ends. It has a single circuitous path that winds its way into the center.
Walking this path allows you an opportunity to focus internally while your body is distracted by the act of following the path. It is profound in its simplicity as the person walking it uses the same path to return from the center and the entrance then becomes the exit.
It is a path of prayer, a walking meditation, a crucible of change, a watering hole for the spirit and a mirror of the soul.
There are many ways to describe the labyrinth, but only one way to experience it. Please join us for this open to the public Summer Solstice labyrinth ritual. This will be an outdoor labyrinth behind Crone’s Hollow in the Fairy Garden. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
If you attended the Summer Solstice labyrinth last year, please bring the sun pendant you were given.
Suggested donation of $10 cash per person.
This event will be followed by a bring your own potluck dinner. Please bring some food to share and we will eat together afterwards.
The labyrinth is being led by Marian and Elizabeth, community elders and magical practitioners of many years experience. Please join us.
