Lughnasadh/Lammas Class by Dark Martha

As the golden hues of summer envelop the land, the time-honored festival of Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh, emerges to mark the first fruits of the earth. This sacred celebration intertwines ancient roots with modern practices, captivating the imagination of witches and nature enthusiasts alike

Lammas, deriving from the Old English word meaning “loaf-mass,” has its roots in Anglo-Saxon England. Historically observed August 1-3rd, this festival signifies the beginning of the harvest season, when first harvest is done and loaves of bread were baked as offerings to the gods of agriculture and fertility.
