Lighting the Yule Tree & Witch’s Wassail
December 15 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

This open-to-the-public and family friendly ritual is being presented by TaMara and April of Crone’s Hollow.
The Christmas/Yule tree has long been a symbol of the holiday season. Each year, people around the world cut down an evergreen tree and decorate it with lights and ornaments, but have you ever thought about how this tradition started?
People started putting lights – candles to be more specific – on Christmas trees in the middle of the 17th century. These were attached to the end of tree branches with wax or pins and were adhered to the tree to represent shining stars.
Please join us as we hold hands and create our own candle tree. We will honor the rite and the story of the birth of the King/return of the Son by singing Christmas carols.
Candles will be provided
$10 per person.
