How to incorporate Witchcraft into your busy life

Not everyone has an elaborate altar set up in their home or has the time to attend public ritual events.  If you want to start slow with your magical practices, do something that you consider magical on a daily basis.  Journal.  Light a candle.  Pull tarot cards. Have a cup of tea in your garden where you can watch nature.  Sometimes it’s as simple as finding a rock that you love and keeping it in your pocket all day where you can feel and touch it, keeping you in tune with your spiritual side.

I would suggest taking a first step of defining what you think is magical, then making a daily plan to accomplish movement in that direction.   In my early witchcraft years I spent a couple months pulling one tarot card each day.  Depending on how busy I was I would either research the “known” meanings of the card, or if time was short I would just look at the card and decide what it meant to me.  Both types of card knowledge are necessary and valid when using tarot.

The magic starts as soon as you take the first step.
