Five hundred years ago, elven magic became chaotic and nearly destroyed the world of Vex’sar. The mage, Gor’del, was able to kill the elven leader and banish elven magic. In high school, she studied Japanese, which sparked a lifelong admiration for Japanese culture and wisdom. A devoted learner, she continually strives to view the world from diverse perspectives. She earned an Associate’s degree in Psychology from Salt Lake Community College, further fueling her curiosity about human behavior.
In addition to writing, E.W. Crandall enjoys collecting natural treasures, carving simple designs into stones, sketching, playing video games, and breaking into spontaneous song. She currently resides in Utah with her cat, Memphis.
Her biggest inspirations include her parents, Suzanne and Richard, her grandmother, and her Aunt Karrie Ann, all of whom have nurtured her love for the arts and for people. You’ll often find her daydreaming with a pen and paper in hand.
